SGL Carbon is committed to training its own junior staff. At the Meitingen, Bonn and Willich sites, a total of 34 apprentices have started their careers in recent days. At the Meitingen site, SGL Carbon and the joint venture Brembo SGL Carbon Ceramic Brakes (BSCCB) are training a total of 22 young colleagues as industrial mechanics, cutting machine operators and electronics technicians for industrial engineering, among others.
The Bonn site welcomes ten machine and plant operators, industrial mechanics, cutting machine operators and IT specialists for application development in training.
Two future industrial mechanics and machine and plant operators were also welcomed in Willich.
